I am a Professional Hair & Makeup artist who works in TV, Editorial, Commercial and Bridal. I fell in love with makeup at the age of 14, watching period dramas and films with special effects. Once I discovered you could do people’s makeup as a career I was hooked, I knew exactly what I wanted to do in life and who I wanted to be…a professional makeup artist!
I went on to study Specialist Media Hair & Makeup for three years, which gave me extensive knowledge in all areas of the industry. Having studied in film, TV, theatre and bridal, this allowed me to choose which area I would like to specialise in. However, it was impossible to choose, so I decided to follow my passion and gain experience in all areas of this creative industry.

The good thing about knowing what career you want from a young age is that you have the drive and direction to work hard and get where you need to go. I have been lucky enough to work with established brands such as Benefit, Hourglass Cosmetics and Space.NK over the past ten years, whilst developing my technique in hair and makeup and always educating myself on changing trends. This is one of the most creative and fast changing industries, and I love that it keeps me learning new things every day!
I get to work with new people on a daily basis, from talented photographers & film crew, to models, wedding planners and building a relationship with my brides. Along with the passion I have for hair & makeup, I just love the variation that my job brings. Meeting new people, working in amazing locations (even the not so glamorous ones) and at the end of the day creating something beautiful. Whether it’s bringing a designer’s mood board vision to life to compliment the product, creating a character from scratch or making someone feel like the most beautiful version of themselves for their special day.
